The holiday season will soon be here!
We are looking for compassionate community members to partner with us for our annual Adopt-a-Family program. Please consider adopting a survivor family for this holiday season. The holidays are a time for giving, for hope, and for joy. When you participate in Adopt-a-Family, you send a message of love and compassion to survivors in our community.
Here’s some information on our adopt-a-family program:
We welcome partnerships from individuals, companies, small groups, and families!
Who does it benefit? Current survivors/families using Resilience services
How does it work? When you decide to participate, we match you with a family based on parameters you set. You will receive a “ wish list” of items the survivor is hoping to receive. Please remember, all items must be new and unwrapped.
What’s on a wish list? Survivors often request household items, personal care products, clothing, games/toys for their children, etc.
Do I have to buy everything on the list? No, you’re welcome to choose the items you purchase.
