Symptoms children may exhibit after exposure to violence

Our Nationally-Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist provides therapy for children and adolescents who have witnessed any form of domestic violence and are exhibiting trauma symptoms.

Some children may experience these symptoms/behaviors from exposure to violence:

– Anxiety
– Sleep issues
– Nightmares
– difficulty concentrating
– High activity levels
– Increased aggression
– Separation issues
– Intense worry about their safety or the safety of a parent
