The holiday season will soon be here!
At Resilience: Advocates for Ending Violence, we believe that every family deserves a joyful holiday season. Our newly revamped Holiday Gift Shop program is designed to create a more empowering experience for the survivors we serve, while also providing an opportunity for generous donors like you to make a meaningful impact.
What’s new?
We have updated our Holiday program to better meet the needs of our families. Here’s how it works:
- Personalized Experience: Families using our services can fill out a Special Request Form to share their gift preferences, ensuring that donors can select items that truly reflect the unique needs of each individual.
- Holiday Gift Shop Visits: Participating families will also schedule appointments to visit our Holiday Gift Shop, where they can choose items for their family; toys, household items, wrapping supplies, etc.
- Gift Wrapping Options: Rather than pre-wrapping gifts, parents can now wrap their own gifts at our wrapping station or take supplies home, allowing them to see the gifts ahead of time and wrap at their convenience.
- Community Involvement: We invite both individual/group donors and larger corporations to participate! Donors can choose to be matched with specific request forms or donate/organize drives for the most-needed items for the shop!
Ways you can get involved:
1. DONATE WISHLIST ITEMS TO OUR SHOP: Purchase items for our shop, allowing families to choose gifts for their own family! CLICK HERE to sign up and let us know you’ll be donating.
2. HOLD A DONATION DRIVE: Your group or business can hold a drive for highly requested items! CLICK HERE to sign up to hold a donation drive.
3. MATCH WITH A FAMILY: You will receive a list of special request items from a family using Resilience’s services! ALL FAMILIES/INDIVIDUALS HAVE BEEN MATCHED AND WISHLISTS HAVE BEEN EMAILED.
